Ralf Stumpf hat das NLP um zahlreiche Formate und Modelle erweitert, zum Beispiel das NLP-Rahmenmodell, die Optimismusstrategie nach Martin Seligmann und das NLP/NVC-Modell nach Marshall Rosenberg. Er hat die Methode des Stärkenorientierten Coachings (SOC) entwickelt und den Storycode, eine Verbindung von NLP mit dem Monomythos nach Joseph Campbell.
