Belief Circle
Belief Circle
Goal of the Technique:
This technique enables you to transform a limiting belief and install a new, empowering belief in its place.
Standard Steps:
- Problem
- Position 1: Belief
- Position 2: Open to Doubt
- Position 3: Museum
- Position 4: New Belief
- Position 5: Open to Belief
- Position 6: Sacred Place
- Test
- Move Old Belief to the Museum
- Place New Belief in Position 1
Detailed Description:
Step 1: Problem
Define the limiting belief.
“You have a negative belief and would like to replace it with a positive one?”
“What positive belief would be appropriate?”
Step 2: Position 1 – Belief
Install floor anchor: Belief/Certainty.
“Think of something (neutral) that you are absolutely certain about, and notice how you know that internally.” (VAKOG associated)
Step 3: Position 2 – Open to Doubt
Install floor anchor: Open to Doubt = Moving away from previously held beliefs.
“Think of something you were once sure of but now doubt—and notice how you know that internally.” (VAKOG associated)
Step 4: Position 3 – Museum
Install floor anchor: Museum of Old Beliefs.
“Think of something you were once sure of but no longer believe at all—and notice how you know that internally.” (VAKOG associated)
Step 5: Position 4 – New Belief
Install floor anchor: New Belief.
“Think of your desired new belief and notice how attractive it feels to you.”
Step 6: Position 5 – Open to Belief
Install floor anchor: Open to Belief = Moving toward what was previously not believed.
“Think of something neutral or positive that you didn’t believe in the past but are now open to believing—and notice how that feels.” (Associated)
Step 7: Position 6 – Sacred Place
Install floor anchor: Sacred Place.
“Think of a core conviction or value that is sacred to you—something you would never violate—and notice how that feels.” (Associated)
Step 8: Test
Test all floor anchors (associated).
“Now let’s walk through each position again, and you’ll feel the quality of each, okay?”
Step 9: Move Old Belief to the Museum
A carries the outdated belief into the Museum and leaves it there in good hands.
“Now I’d like you to take your old belief from Position 1 – Old Belief, through Position 2 – Open to Doubt, into Position 3 – Museum, and leave it there.”
It is well taken care of there, and you can visit it anytime you wish.
Now leave the museum and look around the room.
Step 10: Place New Belief in Position 1
A brings the new belief to Position 1 – Belief.
“Now take your new belief and walk with it from Position 4 – New Belief, through Position 5 – Open to Belief, into Position 6 – Sacred Place, and from there bring it to Position 1 – Belief.”
