Introduction
Success is typically defined as achieving goals through appropriate action. For most people, the recipe for success is a mix of diligence, ambition, intelligence, courage, talent, training, practice, the right connections, financial resources, etc.
Some coaching and training methods address the subconscious, striving to “program” it correctly. This might be done via suitable belief systems, affirmations, goal visualization, or mentally rehearsing specific processes. Many such approaches presume that acquiring a missing resource is key to achieving set goals.
However, only a few methods evaluate the impact of negative factors—everything that holds a person back. That includes thoughts, experiences, beliefs, memories, projections, emotions, fears, and decisions that prevent genuine success. The major challenge is that in most cases, we aren’t even aware of these influences.
When we neutralize the negative impact of these factors, many people experience surprising success—without additional training or lengthy coaching techniques.
Through CQM, we can do exactly that: we identify and neutralize the factors that obstruct success. We do not alter the experience nor remove or add resources. We simply remove the negative effect of these limiting factors. Using this method, we can pursue our goal directly or adopt the necessary resources that enable us to reach it.
All of this might still seem abstract. Let’s look at two examples:
Ronny and the World of Numbers
Ninth-grader Ronny at a junior high school has a severe math problem. Whenever he sits down with his math workbook, he has extreme trouble focusing.
He can’t seem to solve the tasks, spending hours doing homework, getting nowhere. His math tests are a disaster, and his report card is stuck at a failing grade.
His parents have tried everything conventional—unsuccessfully.
Over the last three years, Ronny has driven three math tutors to despair, leaving his parents doubting everything.
They eventually stumbled upon CQM. Once the CQM process uncovered and neutralized all the factors hindering success in math, Ronny’s difficulties vanished completely. He soon scored only Bs and Cs, and ended up with a B in math on his final report.
When Everything Seems Perfect
Jürgen runs a small firm with five employees, has two healthy kids, a lovely wife, and a nice suburban home. The picture of a successful life—until his company began falling apart. For months, Jürgen was unable to even show up for work, spending time at home in inexplicable crying fits.
Conventional methods didn’t help him, either. He underwent lengthy psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and took multiple medications to stabilize his emotions.
Using CQM, we resolved Jürgen’s unconscious causes related to his work situation.
From one day to the next, he was back at work as usual, passionate about his job.
In both examples, typical approaches had no effect. Their problem couldn’t be solved at the level where it manifested—its roots lay in an unexpected place that they never linked to their issue. Both lay in the unconscious. Once we found them and neutralized the success-blocking effect, everything quickly turned positive.
Before discussing Ronny’s and Jürgen’s specific blockers, let’s explore some background on CQM and the method itself.
The (Un)Conscious Factor
It’s indisputable that all our actions and decisions originate from the experiences we’ve gathered. Everything we do, say, or think has been learned somewhere—consciously or unconsciously—be it from parents, school, peers, or media. Only a small portion truly arises from within. Many experiences occur in early childhood, or even before birth in the womb, heavily shaping and influencing us. We can’t recall most of these experiences because they happened so long ago, and they’re pushed into our subconscious. But that doesn’t negate their impact—quite the contrary.
The “Human” System
The idea is fairly simple: we categorize every experience we have in life—whether pleasant or unpleasant, positive or negative—and store it in our system. All relevant sensory impressions and emotions are tied to it. This model is recognized in psychology and used in some therapies, like hypnotherapy.
Official science can’t yet explain the physical location of this stored data.
Despite extensive tests and animal trials, no specific body part has been identified where these experiences get stored. Thus, we can suspect the storage might not be in the physical body at all. We have to look elsewhere.
The Human Energy Field
In school, we learn that humans are made of bones, muscles, blood flow, and nerves—cells communicate through chemical messengers. The body is described as a mechanical-chemical machine. Our DNA presumably contains the plan for the human body; from a single fertilized egg, the entire organism emerges, with identical DNA copied across each cell division.
But one question remains: how does each cell “know” to become a liver cell rather than a heart or brain cell? Which control mechanism is at play, and where is it stored? The DNA is the same in all cells, so how?
Western mainstream science often omits discussing the existence of an energy field.
Every living being—human, animal, plant—is surrounded by a subtle energy field that can be measured or even visually displayed using optical/electronic methods, changing constantly. And these changes are driven not just by physical influences but significantly by our thoughts. Many cultures call these fields auras. Even if few people can consciously see them, we all perceive and react to them unconsciously, whether we see them or not.
These fields exist even at the single-cell stage of an organism, but disappear once the organism dies. They envelop and penetrate the body.
We can hypothesize that data is stored in these fields, which dictate how each cell functions. Experiments with animals—like lizards—support this. Lizards famously regrow lost limbs. By manipulating those fields with an electric charge, we can accelerate tissue regeneration.
Where Are Our Memories Stored?
Returning to the question: where are memories kept? Science hasn’t found any organ or structure definitively storing them. Given the discussion on energy fields, it’s plausible that our experiences are stored in the energy fields around us. This also explains faster-than-chemical means of information transfer in our bodies. If so, every piece of data—both positive and negative—shapes how we view ourselves and the world, influencing our physical and mental well-being.
Notably, people unconsciously sense and respond to each other’s fields—business partners, coworkers, clients, spouses—outside our conscious awareness. If these fields carry data detrimental to our goals, it unconsciously affects us.
Targeted Influence of the Energy Field
We believe the body’s function and information exchange happen via these energy fields, which are shaped by our thoughts. Hence theoretically, we can use thought alone to influence them—provided we’re fully neutral and focused on our objective. If we waver—one moment “I’d like to do this,” the next “but it’s not possible”—we cancel out that intention and see no effect.
Clear Intention
Using CQM, we allow success-blocking elements from the unconscious to surface and turn them into harmonious vibrations. We call these success-blockers “weakening influences” or “weak information,” or simply “weaknesses.” They aren’t always disruptive; only in a specific context, goal, or behavior.
When we apply CQM, we identify the unconscious weaknesses in our energy field and correct or neutralize them in relation to a particular goal. The correction is a simple mental act, an “intention” to shift a weakening factor into a strengthening or neutral factor.
CQM effectively harmonizes our energy field. We resolve life’s entanglements stored there, “cleaning” our field so the energy can flow freely. This is no mere metaphor—special devices can show these changes, proven by experiments.
The Blueprint of Our Body
Through CQM, we don’t alter the underlying experience but instead remove its negative effects on our system.
Hence fears and compulsions, which shape our repeated responses until the negative impact dissolves, disappear, giving us new freedom in everything we do. These corrections affect not only our mind and behavior but also our body. Because our body is defined by the field, changing the field changes the body. Put differently, when we use our thoughts to fix negative influences, it also affects our health.
That’s precisely what we observe in CQM. Our thoughts must be driven by a clear intention. If we keep telling ourselves “Yes, I want this or that” but “No, it’s impossible,” we neutralize our goal, blocking any result.
Ronny’s Unconscious Success Blockers
Returning to our examples, let’s see what unconscious weaknesses hindered Ronny and Jürgen:
Recall that Ronny spent three years cycling through three math tutors who all gave up in frustration. The CQM coach mentally accompanied him to his school (“looking around,” “sensing”) and corrected all weakening influences related to the building and classes.
Among others: the energetic connection between Ronny and the desks, the blackboard, chalk smell, having to sit still, his math teacher, her voice, the textbooks, the numbers themselves. As soon as the CQM coach focused on numbers, Ronny slumped in his chair, his breathing paused—a sign of additional energetic “entanglements” around that concept. So the coach targeted “looking at numbers, writing numbers, saying numbers” and corrected them all.
Next, references to paying money, paying bills, “you’ll pay for this,” “I’ll pay you back,” were triggers. Then phrases like “feeling guilty about numbers.” Ronny straightened up—he recalled how his father was always working, causing his mother to be angry. Fights ensued when Dad came home. His mother complains Dad only cares about revenues and numbers, ignoring the family. The standard line: “You only care about your figures; you don’t care about us.” Once the fights ended, the family vibe was sour, causing stress for Ronny. So the coach corrected these last triggers: “numbers are to blame,” “feeling guilty over numbers,” “being unnoticed because of numbers,” “being punished because of numbers,” “fear of numbers.”
The Effects of CQM
Over subsequent weeks, Ronny scored only Bs and Cs in math. Three months later, his mother reported their home life was more relaxed. They were spending more time as a family; Dad wasn’t as stressed or absent. Energetic corrections don’t just influence an individual’s energy field but also those who interact with them. The father’s and mother’s fields affected Ronny, and Ronny’s corrected field affected his parents in return. Ronny eventually left school with a B in math. Remember, not everyone’s math struggles share these same unconscious factors—everyone’s field is unique, shaped by their experiences and interpretations.
Jürgen’s Story Behind the Energetic Weaknesses
As a small business owner, Jürgen had reached a point where he couldn’t go to work anymore, even seeking therapy that yielded no lasting results.
In identifying his unconscious influences, deep-rooted fears emerged. The CQM coach neutralized them mentally as “weaknesses,” focusing first on Jürgen’s relationships—he was happily married for 17 years, but we found an old event from when he was 7. Jürgen teared up upon hearing “7.” At 7, he’d watched his mother depart with a suitcase, tears in her eyes, never to return. His father was 43 then. Jürgen was haunted by a hidden fear of being abandoned by a woman at that same age. Now that he was 43, the old entanglement flared. After the corrections, Jürgen relaxed discussing his wife, releasing that unconscious fear. The “tension,” literally, was gone.
The Next Step Toward Success
The coach focused next on Jürgen’s office—he hadn’t set foot there in months. We discovered unconscious negative influences from the phone and its ringing. The phone was his main business tool, constantly ringing. After referencing his phone experiences, it came out that two years prior, a lawyer had called him one morning, announcing a restraining order and huge financial damages. Jürgen felt humiliated, undeserving. Unconsciously, he felt like a failure as a businessman and husband. Every time his office phone rang afterward, the old memory was triggered. The coach neutralized these influences (phone, “being a businessman,” “being a man”). Three weeks later, Jürgen was a changed person—no more tears or panic, happily back to work.
When the Past Continues to Influence Us
Jürgen’s experience shows that decades-old events can severely impact us. He didn’t link his crying jags to childhood. Once we recognized and corrected his old energetic entanglements, his energy field returned to a harmonious vibration, and his body and emotional state stabilized. Imagine the energetic field as a glass of water. Drop in some dirt, the water is “polluted.” Over time, the dirt settles at the bottom, but if a stone is tossed in, it stirs the dirt again. Stirring repeatedly doesn’t make it clear. Jürgen’s prior attempts only agitated the “dirty water.” With CQM, it’s like filtering out the dirt, so the water is clear again. Clearing your energy field yields a free energy flow, a clear perspective, a wide range of choices and freedom.
Which Opportunities Are Available to Us?
Working with energetic corrections can feel like a rebirth, reorganizing all potential actions and opportunities we have. Resolving the unconscious entanglements sets you “in the flow.” Jürgen’s story is typical: all of us are shaped by parents, especially early in life. Each human contact leaves a fingerprint on our energy field. If any need is not fully met (and total fulfillment is practically impossible), that “unmet need” combined with our subjective interpretation leaves an imprint. From then on, it defines how we see ourselves and the world around us. It’s always less than the whole story, inevitably leading to self-devaluation next to the rest of the world. Stored in the field, these entanglements hamper free choice and shrink our mental and physical flexibility, influencing how we age.
CQM and Other Coaching Methods
Unlike many methods, CQM focuses not on what’s lacking—no missing resources, knowledge, or magic bullet. We identify events in a person’s life that triggered resistance, often unconsciously buried, continuing to affect them. By acknowledging them and applying corrections, these entanglements disappear entirely. Due to its simplicity, CQM complements nearly any coaching or therapy approach. Other methods may uncover valuable clues to those unconscious issues. Combining it with approaches like NLP, systemic constellations, or family constellations, or in alternative medicine, yields extensive possibilities.
How Easy Is It to Learn CQM?
Many find it unbelievably simple—that’s the main obstacle to overcome. We must first neutralize any unconscious blocks that keep us from accepting that simplicity. By creating positive references under the right conditions, our beliefs can shift profoundly. Essentially, we use CQM on our universal hurdle: accepting CQM’s ease. If you have truly integrated this method, you can learn from yourself forever. That’s why you can’t just read about it in a book or an article—unless you already get it!
How Do We Identify Energy Weaknesses?
Ultimately, finding these weaknesses is intuitive and involves tapping into body awareness. Many of us have underdeveloped body awareness; school taught us to “think,” not “feel.” Hence we rely mostly on our intellect, neglecting emotions. To regain or boost that awareness, we practice special exercises and auxiliary techniques, shaping it into a structured process that eventually transitions into a free-flowing intuitive approach. Of course, an article can’t replicate the experience. I suggest attending a CQM presentation or “experience night,” where volunteers are demonstrated upon, live.
