Core Transformation

Presentation based on the book *"The Path to the Inner Source"* by Connirae and Tamara Andreas.

"A method that allows you to reach states in five minutes that others sit on mountains for years to attain!"

Core Transformation is about identifying behaviors, feelings, and reactions that you don’t like about yourself and using them to embark on an amazing and uplifting inner journey into the depths of your being.

The Core Transformation process can be used to transform self-destructive behaviors, feelings, or reactions that cause serious life problems for us.

Once you have gone through the process several times, you will develop the confidence that, by entering your innermost core, you will discover a nature that goes beyond everything we usually consider positive.

What is the Core Self?

I live from my Core Self when:

  • I experience wholeness, inner peace, well-being, love, and vitality;
  • I am fully grounded and centered in my body;
  • I am completely aware of my body and emotions;
  • I perceive the world clearly;
  • I know what I want;
  • I act in accordance with my values;
  • I effortlessly act in my own best interest while also respecting others and their interests;
  • I have a positive sense of self;
  • I am aware of who I am—not just what I do, how I feel, or what I have;
  • I am aware of my resources. I feel capable of choosing how I feel and what I do.
The Five Core States
  1. Resting in Being
  2. Inner Peace
  3. Love
  4. Being Okay
  5. Oneness

When Can You Use Core Transformation?

Emotional Areas:
  • Do you easily get caught up in unpleasant feelings or moods such as depression, anger, rage, sadness, jealousy, hurt, anxiety, fear, or loneliness?
  • Do you find it difficult to feel your emotions?
Addiction Problems / Habits
  • Do you have problems with eating, such as suffering from obesity, bulimia, or anorexia? Do you “struggle with yourself” over what or how much you should eat?
  • Do you feel excessively dependent on smoking, drinking, sex, relationships, money, material things, or anything else?
  • Do you have "nervous" habitual behaviors like biting your fingers or nails, drumming on the table, a "nervous laugh," etc.?
Relationships:
  • Do you feel bad when you realize someone else does something better than you? Do you feel driven to look the best, have the best or the most, be the most popular, etc.?
  • Is it hard for you to ask for things? Do you usually go along with what others are doing even when you don’t like it? Do you sometimes say you agree with others even when you really don’t?
  • Is your attention usually focused on pleasing others? Do you do things for others at your own expense? Are you willing to do anything for others in order to gain their love and approval?
  • Are you afraid of being abandoned?
  • Do you find it hard to trust others? Do you often assume people have bad intentions? Do you consider only a few people to be “good people”?
  • Is it extremely important to you that others think positively of you? Do you feel tempted to twist the truth or even lie so that others will maintain a positive image of you?
  • Do you feel tempted to be dishonest in order to get what you want from others?
Self-Image:
  • Do you find it difficult to accept yourself unless you are “perfect”?
  • Are you overly critical of your own behavior when you make small mistakes?
  • Do you consider yourself better than others and look down on them?
  • Do you feel inferior to others and look up to them?
  • Do you feel ashamed of yourself or your behavior?
  • Would you like to strengthen your self-esteem?
  • Do you feel like you don’t know who you really are?
Other Categories
  • Do you suffer from a physical illness that you suspect may be related to unexpressed emotions or stress?
  • Are you a victim of physical, sexual, mental, or emotional abuse in the past or present?
  • Do you often suffer from inner conflicts?
  • Do you have obsessive thoughts about a particular issue?

Overview: Ten Steps to Core Transformation

Step 1.

Select a part to work with: Experience the part, acknowledge it as part of you, and welcome it.

Step 2.

Discover the intention / the first intended outcome: Ask the part, "What do you want?"

Step 3.

Discover the outcome chain: Ask your part, "If you fully and completely achieve [the intended outcome of the previous step], what do you want to achieve through that, which is even more important?" [Repeat as often as necessary.]

Step 4.

The Core State: Reach the inner source: Take a moment to enjoy your Core State.

Step 5.

Revise the outcome chain using the Core State.

  • In general: Invite your part to consider: “If you begin with [the Core State] as a way of being in the world, how does that change the situation?”
  • Specifically: “How does the [Core State], now established as a state of being, transform, enrich, and illuminate the [intended outcome]?” (Repeat this for all intended outcomes.)
  • Transforming the original context: “How does the [Core State], now established as a state of being, transform your experience of [the context in which you used to do X]?”
Step 6.

Allow a part to grow up.

  • “How old are you?”
  • “Would you like to enjoy the benefits of developing through time to your present age, with [Core State] fully present?”
  • Let the part grow from its current age through time up to your present age, with [Core State] present in every moment along the way.
Step 7.

Integrate the part fully into your body: Pay attention to where your part is now, and allow it to flow into your body, fully filling it so that [Core State] permeates every cell.

Step 8.

Revise the result chain with the grown-up part. The part is now fully integrated into your body (generally, specifically, and in the original context).

Step 9.

Look for opposing parts: “Does any part of me object to having [Core State] as a way of being in the world right now?” (Guide any opposing parts and any parts connected to the current issue through the first eight steps of the process before proceeding.)

Step 10.

Generalization of the timeline.

  • Visualize your timeline and allow yourself to drift back into your past until just before the moment of your conception. Move forward through time, with your Core State permeating your being, and let [Core State] color and transform every moment of your experience all the way to the present.
  • Visualize yourself moving along the same path into the future, noting that it is also colored by the presence of [Core State].
  • Perform this generalization of your timeline several times, each time faster.
